Despite all of the rain we have been getting and a lot of lakes getting to the full limit Lake Travis is going to need a hurricane to help it! As for how much it has risen during this past week I don't know. hmmm

Side Note: Lake Medina in San Antonio is in the same shape.

It's rising...but SLOWLY. We need rain in Fredericksburg and above Buchanan in a big way to make much of a difference. Still 50' low on LT and 30' low on Buch...may change a few feet but not that much.

fish The Leon, Lampasas and Colorado rivers and their watershed have caught very little rain in the past 5 years. I was hoping for a big rain event on the Leon yesterday but, it didn't happen. We've caught about a foot of new water in Belton within the last week but we are still 10 ft. below normal. We seem to be on the break line between feast and famine with these storms. violin

Lake is still low but now for the fishing report!

Been out several times in the last month and have not figured out the crappie bite. No luck with jigs or plastics around docks for crappie. Having trouble finding much structure with my basic lowrance. Lake is still 60 feet deep in several areas I have been. Black bass and Guadalupe bass on the other hand have been very good and coming home with limits every trip. I am totally happy to have guads slam my jig in the absence of a crappie bite!
