Missing my little boy today. Our first child, Fischer, wouldve been 2 years old today. I miss him so much. Still think about him every single day.

I lost my second daughter 25 years ago October 28th. I still think about her everyday. Trust me, it gets better. You never forget but it does not hurt as much!

It will be tough for many years to come, its normal to feel this-
For us that gut wrenching pain gradually subsided-
There may also be times that when you come across someone else unfortunate enough to go through this that helpIng them deal with it in some way may help you numb the pain a bit-
That child is a life that mattered and he was loved while he was here on this earth-
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Lost my step-daughter at age 23 ten years ago. Still not easy for us, we have good days and bad. The best thing is knowing she is healed and is at home with God.

We lost two to miscarriage. As hard as that was, I never held them. My sister passed at 43. Mom and dad never got over that. They say God will never give you more than you can handle. I'm not so sure.

I feel for you Jacob. I would have one that would have been 19.5 right now.
God has a plan my friend. Had that boy/girl of mine been born, I would have never know the 18 year old we have and love so much today.
Glass half full/empty. You will only beat yourself up reminiscing. It is OK to have loved, lost and moved on. No guilt or shame in that.
Take the love that God has given you. He has a plan!
