Anyone have experience with this in North Texas? I'd like to cut down on number of times to apply.

I didnt see any difference with Bauer vs Vihoro. I use Scotts and have a great yard (St Augustine). I just need to improve my consistency in applying the right stuff at the right time.

Download Scotts My Lawn app. Takes 2 minutes to create profile and it tells what to apply and when. Easy peasy.

LET’S GO BRANDON!!!

Watch how much you put on. That stuff can kill your lawn if applied too thick. It works on some weed types. Does nothing to others.

If you have St. Augustine then it should work well. My previous house had St. Augustine and I used the Scotts brand weed and feed and it worked very well.

Here in Alabama, I live outside the city limits. So last weekend, I burned my front yard. Boss said no can do to backyard because the cats will have soot on their feet for the next month. So I filled up my hose sprayer with Roundup and sprayed the entire backyard. I was surprised at how little Roundup I was using. Then when I went to clean it, I found out the intake tube came off. I spent over an hour watering the weeds, not killing them.

I've been using Scott's fertilizer 3 or 4 times a year on St. Augustine yard and spraying for weeds spring and fall and I'm up on Sperry and take Scott's online suggestions.

Bayer 3 in 1 advertises weed kill for up to 6 months. Just wanting to know if anyone has or is using this product only and their thoughts?

Don't want to kill yard, just the weeds and reduce applications and varieties of weed killers needed.

It has overtime seemed to me the weed and feed is very hard on the grass even though it does work. A good pre-emergent plan works the best in the long run. The weeds you see now are from last falls seeds. Treat now for summer weeds.. it is getting late for pre-emergent.
