This has been my long anticipated return to Texas and the Gulf Coast. So excited to be fishing the salt again on a regular. My first trip out was to the Texas City Dike and then I hit the Galveston Causeway for some night time fishing under the lights. I think the night fishing is the way to go for the time being until I get climatized to this heat.

Nice Bullet Catcher I was enjoying the vids from up north. Glad to see your back home. Also hoping your not in that mess that Harvey is dishing out right now. Stay safe and look forward to more vids.

Glad to see you back in the great state of Texas, Mark. How's retirement from the USMC treating you? Between the transition and the hurricane, you probably haven't had much time to take it all in yet.

It's great not having to take calls in the middle of the night anymore! No more taking care of 21 year old kids....I've got my own to concentrate on now. Loving every minute of it!!!

BC, how long were you in the Corps? My son has been in for 12 years working on 20+ he hopes. He just moved last month from Pendleton where he had been since he went in to Chesapeake, VA.

He caught this on his last day fishing from Del Mar Beach at Pendleton. First shark he caught out there.

This his 3yo son's first catch from a kayak. From Bob's Fishing Hole on the Northwest River south of Chesapeake near the North Carolina border. He woke his Dad up that morning saying "Bob's fishing! Bob' Fishing!"

Thanks. And congrats to you. Look forward to more of your videos. My son hopes to get in 20+ years before he is done. I am looking forward to visiting him at his new gig in Virginia and fishing some of the rivers and up in Chesapeake Bay with him.
