I have one. It's a very nice fishing kayak. It is fast and stable. Cuts through the water and handles waves well. The open deck makes standing up easy. It will rock an inch or two to the side, but then it locks in really well. The elevated seat is nice. I also have a FeelFree Lure 11.5. The Lure is slightly more stable. It doesn't have that little lean before locking in. But the Lure is slower and doesn't track as easily as the Wahoo. I am a fly fisherman, so I like the open deck of the Wahoo better than the console between my feet on the Lure, especially when standing up. The open deck has less stuff to tangle slack line around as well. The seat on the Wahoo is nice and comfortable. The Lure's seat is super nice and is adjustable. If the back on the Lure seat was as high as the Wahoo's, it would be the ultimate seat for sure. I rarely set the Lure seat any lower than all the way up anyway, so for me the Wahoo's seat is just as good. I do like the higher backrest on the Wahoo. Storage is great on both. No real advantage one way or the other than I have found.
I have only had them out on lakes and creeks with very slow current. In that environment, I prefer the Wahoo. The Lure, being a foot shorter and slightly more stable might have a slight edge in rougher moving water, but I am confident that the Wahoo would do very well there too.
I will probably end up selling the Lure and buying another Wahoo or maybe even a Kaku Kahuna.
