There's been some talk of a trip to Kings Creek during this year's white bass run - I'm planning to go on Feb 27 if anyone else wants to join. I'm hearing the creeks around the lake are hitting 60 on the warm days, so really this weekend will probably be good as well. I can't make it until the 27th though. Planning to launch from the 274 bridge and head west. PM me or reply if you're interested.

Was just talking about that last weekend!
Provided that it does not rain for 3-4 days before Sat, I will definitely be going.
Other option would be the Richland Chambers creek. That creek already have a full run BUT I could not find any spots to launch a kayak.

I'm planning on launching at 7am Saturday morning (27th). With the rain this week the dirt paths down to the water off of 274 could be sketchy, but we'll see. Worst case scenario it's a 150 yard haul from the truck to the water. 274 launch point - SE overpass

You can get 10' away from the pavement there - if there's not enough people already parked. The same for the other three corners of the overpass. The Google pin I linked is just the parking area that's closest to the water out of the others.

I live just off Kings Creek (Cedar Creek Lake), and it is out of it's banks right now...running muddy and high.

Thanks for update on Kings Creek. Figured it might be muddy & high. I'll be watching this post since I want to join the group at King's Creek outing if its a weekend day that I am available.
