Hey guys pretty new to fishing from the kayak. Looking at getting a stakeout pole as it seems most of the time I'd like to set up in 6-10 fow. Have y'all seen any telescopic stakeout poles to cut back on a huge pole sticking out from the kayak. How do y'all store your stakeout poles?

I have heard rumors that YakAttack is in the process of making a telescoping one. Not sure on time or anything just heard it at a yakattack dealer. That would be amazing!!! I have an 8ft one and it would be handy if it collapsed somehow.

Look at Anglers Pro Tackle, you can buy multiple rods and rod joins to make it modular so you can make it in to 6, 8, 10 or more feet depending on how you put it together.

I posted some info on a cool stake-out pole that is mounted and rotates up and into position. It looks pretty good. There are two like this I have seen.
But, the faster way has already been described: Have Rick up at Angler's make a pole for you out of two pieces, break it down like a pool cue and store the two pieces more easily.
That rubber coated wire twisty stuff? I keep a few pieces of that in my boat and it can be used to quickly secure all sorts of things to all sorts of spots, or to each other.
