Fished Purtis Creek for the first time on 8/16 and 8/17 what a great lake. The early morning bite was good on yellow magics and white buzz baits on points. At 8 am I switched to shakey head with Hags Tornado 6.5 in watermelon red pitching stumps. All in all i fished from 6 am to 10am both days and 12 fish total. Great lake and will be back at the first of September.

Thanks guys. We will be back there labor day weekend for 3 days. Hopefully this heat will back down by then.
