The pool below the spillway when water is not going over the spillway, is it legally accessable to fish in it, in particular to fish from a kayak there, looks very inviting.

There used to be no trespassing signs everywhere on the fence.
IDK if that is still the case.

You can still cast in to it but don't pass the bouys or fence if they are there, make sure you have an Oklahoma and Texas license.

We put our yaks in there but as he stated, you cannot pass a certain point. But you can get really close to the dam. We catch tons of fish usually, can't now since every gate is open.
