The Blue stocks trout from November to the end of March, so it's really busy that time of the year. It's primitive camping, no electricity or water, but has vaulted toilets. It's really pretty and plenty of places to fish for bass. It's worth a drive up there and then have a cheeseburger at Scotties.

make sure everyone in your party has an annual Oklahoma fishing license.
That is required for entry into that area.

they released 4,000 channel cats last week in the Blue.....while trout fishing I watched a lady tear up the cats on nightcrawlers

My family owns land that Blue runs through. We catch tons of catfish and they catch buffalo all the time. Our land is where Blue meets Red River.
