I work 10 minutes away so I'm in. It can be a tough lake but great evening out on the water meeting a few new folks.

Do we have to launch from that spot or are we allowed to launch from a different area of the lake after registration?

You have to check in from there to pay before you can launch anywhere on the lake but first cast is 6pm. early check in is 5:15pm. Once you check in you can launch or trailer around and head to your spot and wait until 6pm to start casting. You must be back by 9pm or you will be DQ (back to the check in location)

You would be wise to strongly consider setting up an alternate off-site location, out of the park, to collect your entry fees and to make your payouts.

Any exchange of money at WRL Park is illegal and carries a rather stiff fine. The Dallas Park Police are out there on duty in both uniforms and via undercover.
