FYI- The free ramp is closed. If you go to Lavonia Park make sure you have a bill no larger than $5. I went about a week ago and had a ten dollar bill and $3:50 in change. The attendant reminded me it was $4.00 for day use. I had to go break my $10 before I got in.

And I am sure the boaters would be smart enough not to launch, SMH. Thanks for the heads up Albert.

Made it out there this morning. Used the COE Annual Day Pass; so went to Lavonia Park and put in from the Day Use Area. Paddled out to the Point to fish and began working the area... trolling a Slab and Crappie Jig Rig as well as casting to boils! Caught two Yellow Bass and a number of White Bass with three Keepers. Fish for Dinner tonight! Today's Video.PS: Here is an article from our Web Admin about Trolling with a Kayak... may be of interest to some.
