I know he said he wouldn't post until he returned, but hope he is doing ok. I drove across the river yesterday. May be the lowest I have ever seen. The USGS shows the flow is below 10cfs  The water is ultra hot and ultra stagnant. This will definitely be an adventure for him and I look forward to his story.

He got on the river on Saturday. His return is this Sunday. I gave him my cell since I am close in case he got in trouble. I have not heard from him, so I guess he's making his way.

I am back, Got off the water today around 1. Look for a report tomorrow. I am hot and I am tired. Shower then lay on the couch in the A/C Dang that river was low.

Welcome back Steve! A lot has been happening since you left. I'll get you up to speed. Ninja started designing pink lures called purdy poppers. You can pick them up at your local jewelry store in the earring section. Robbie blanked at the Thursday night tourney so you know the fishing has been off. Native came out with a new kayak that is called the Slayer and it looks awesome and it turns you into a ghost at night that only other kayak anglers can see. Some newbie complained about his broken rudder on a Mariner 12.5 but no one believes him and he won't provide pics. Ray Roberts came down with a case of the Zebra Mucles and it's looking pretty grim. Zombie is planning a G2G for this fall but instead of fishing we're goin after trophy gators with sharpened bamboo sticks in speedos. Chis Coufal added a 42" plasma to his Mariner 12.5 but hasn't gotten the satilite aimed just right yet. He can get ESPN but when we switch to Bravo to watch Real Houswives the picture turns fuzzy. I hope this post made your head spin a bit. Glad you made it...looking forward to a full report!
