I've been watching the BlueSky Catamaran 360, thought it seemed priced about right at $3499 since that'd put it in the area of PA 14s, 12s, Big Titans and more. So, I knew "something" was up regarding a pre-purchase announcement, special pricing. I set my email account to notify me, got the "go" and found out 10 were priced at $2299, then other pre-release packages. So, I bought one. It'll be delivered in June and I plan to use it back here in my cove but also am hoping I can get out deeper more often.

Second, I had been touting what I feel is a great advantage in kayak fishing . . . shorter rods and I'll be danged if Cashion Rods isn't now making a series of rods customized for kayaks. Most have shorter butt ends, one is a true pistol grip. They are priced on the low to moderate side. Interesting.

I'll be fishing Purtis Creek again tomorrow, 3/25 if anyone is looking for a place to fish. Temps a bit cooler tomorrow, wind lower, too. I'm going to try my regular presentations but I have a few ideas I want to explore, give a go.

Better yet, after this contraption comes in June, c'mon over and give it a spin.

I had so much fun white bass fishing this year during the spawn, I am hoping I can use this catamaran to catch them out in deeper water at other times over the year. That, and I want to spend at least a bit of time targeting crappie.
