Anyone coming up here to fish the tourney...let me know if I can help you. My cell is 6825601764.
I’m not your go to guy on where to fish etc, but I live here.
Advice: Bring a jacket. 37 degrees this morning in fog and mist. Some snow mixed in for fun.
Note: For your planning, the lake has been dropping almost a foot per day for the last week or more. Fish sense this and move out towards the river. Two kayaks out behind the house this morning fishing shallow. I’m no bass champ, but my bet is they did not get bit. Lake is near winter pool. Fish you see shallow will be crappie ready to do their thing.
Water temp...55 degrees.
It has been very wet. If you plan on getting to some of the LBL coves....please have four wheel drive. It’s muddy off the paved road.
As always, if you are traveling in this area at dusk or first light...look out for deer.
