I went up to Arkansas for the 4th of July holiday and decided to do some smallmouth fishing while there. It's really beautiful up there and I highly encourage any kayakers to take the trip. Congrats on picking up target smallies The gold medal goes to my girlfriend for having an eye out. I wish I could've gotten the snake on camera but I was 110% certain it was a big cotton mouth. Thanks for watching man!

Cottonmouth are scary critters. They'll come up and see what you're doin, all while you're paddling at the top of their heads. They aren't afraid of you at all.
