Does anyone know where I can find a 3Amp fuse for a FF? I dropped the fuse holder and it disconnected one of the little wires in the fuse. I have some on order from Amazon but won't be here in time for this weekend. I've looked at 3 stores the smallest they had was 5amp. Thanks in advance!

That's crazy. Any of the auto parts stores should have a 3 amp ato or atc fuse. Have you tried Nappa?

If it ain't yours don't mess with it!

Call radio shack.
They have a kits of fuses listed on their web site and it seems to include the 3A.
The kit number is #2700066.
Radio Shack Fuse

If they don't have it at the store you called be sure to ask them to check other close stores.

Mariner Sails is great, but might be a bit of a far trip for you, from McKinney, especially for something that costs less than a dollar.

Any AutoZone or O'Reilly's should have 3 amp fuses, there is where I got mine. Radio shack does have the 3 amp fuses but they're in a $10 bundle with a bunch of sizes you may or may not ever need.

But who knows, maybe you just need an excuse to go to Mariner Sails!

O'reillys had some the last time I checked. If not them try Fry's. And if you can't find none let me know. I might have an extra I can give you. Send me a PM and I will get you hooked up.

Literally any autoparts store, any walmart, etc will have those "style" fuses. Now in a 3amp? Not likely because most cars only go down to 5amp fuse ratings. So thats probably where you will have the most trouble finding one is if you are specifically looking for that 3amp.

Wow thank you all for the responses, this should help. The three stores I've tried were Auto zone, Wal-Mart and Academy's but didn't have any luck. I will try O'reillys tomorrow.... if they don't have any I'll go to Ace or Nappa to see. 109 thanks for the offer if I cannot get one with all these places I'll shoot you a pm. I would love to go to Mariner Sails but my wife wouldn't like that too much! Thanks again everyone!

I am almost certain that I also needed a 3 amp fuse and found it at O'Reilly's after doing the same searches you did.

I got one at Ace Hardware recently, I had to ask for help because I couldn't find the amp rating on the fuse or package. It only had an E on it. The Ace guy gently explained to me that I was looking at it upside down and the E was actually a 3.

Same here. To think that I went all over town searching and what I needed was only 1/4 mile down the road.
