Just trying to figure out which one you think is best. I will use it to crappie fish brush and find schooling whites.

I have the elite 5 chirp and elite 5x hdi. I don't think the chirp is worth it. I actually turned it off. I run both units in 200KHZ for 2D and 800KHZ for DSI. If you put them over each other, you will be surprised how much you can see. The only thing is that either you or the fish need to be moving to get a clear picture. Otherwise you will get a solid line across the display. If you can find a HDI, I think you will be happy.
