A good source tells me striper fishing the first hole down river from dam will be phenominal this year. See you guys down there! Better get there early though.He has already caught a few long skinny post spawn mid twenty lbers!!He kept this hawg for the grill.

i assume they are releasing just as much water as all the other north/central texas lakes?

Whitney is 20' high right now so i sure hope they are dumping a lot of water

That just didn't sound right from the last time I looked so I looked it up.. sure enough Lake Whitney is @ 552.68 or 19.4 feet above normal pool level / releasing 8354cfps.. that is going to put a lot of fish in the river below the dam..
