I am looking to buy some property and I wonder what the smallest size of a pond will be big enough to keep some fish in? Probably mostly large mouth bass.

Thanks,
Rick

1/2 acre is about the smallest I have seen that had any good bass in it.

I would post this in the ponds section.

We usually try to steer people away from stocking bass unless they've got at least an acre. It's doable, but to grow fish that are healthy and not stunted in growth you need the water volume.
