Hey guys I don't know how to post a video but you have got to check out this web page www.ultraskiff.com . my sister posted it on my face book page . When I first saw it I thought it was a joke but I watched the video and its pretty darn awesome.

they are super sweet....only problem is they don't like to ship....I work for a shipping company and have attempted to contact the owner and offer services even to help them grow.

They haven't returned any calls or emails. I wouldn't mind having one that's for sure!

Missed any pics or video of operation with rough conditions.
Don't think the disk design with high center of gravity would work well if wind and waves kick up. Boarding and disembarking might be a little wobbly depending on how big you are. Looks heavy, and inefficient to power because there is no streamlining. It is a unique design and might be just the thing for small protected ponds, tho.

Sorry, just my humble experience, FWIW.

I've been emailing the owner back and forth about placing a second transom opposite the existing one. It's a pretty cool rig....but not inexpensive. I wonder how long it'll be before I see one around (no pun intended) here.

The center of gravity is not really much if any higher than a pond prowler and this has a massive footprint on the water surface by comparison, so I imagine your deduction there is well outside of reason. As well, if you looked at the pictures/video, it is streamlined below the water line a bit... a straked flat bottom hull. It is essentially just a circular deck flat bottom boat, with a normal hull shape and round top. Given the much higher buoyancy rating than most similarly sized pond boats, would be great for big guys, and given then size, stability, and hull, much better in rough water than a pond prowler I bet, not that you'd be wanting to take it anywhere you wouldn't take a pond prowler. I would suggest you actually look at the pictures, and definitely watch the video before trying to ascertain some sort of 'internet engineers structural integrity assessment' because you're pretty far off base I IMO. Not even sure why you'd comment if you didn't look at any of it other than seeing it has a round deck and pedestal seat...

All in all it's a very attractive rig but at that point I'd just get a Sun Dolphin Pro120 or something and have what is honestly the ultimate small water and short distance big lake fishing boat IMO.
