does any one have a problem with the seats not really fitting in the slot or groves of the boat. mine I have to force down to get them to sit in the groves once I do that I cant move my seat it takes a lot of effort. my boat almost looks like it has a bend. I email pelican and they said its normal that I have to push on one side of the seat to get it to move

It wasn't always like that was it? I don't remember having to try so hard to move the seats

If the seat base is too wide, bend the legs together.
If the seat base is too narrow, pull the legs apart.
Putting grease on it will just make a mess.

This is not uncommon at all.

You just have to tinker with them like PowerLizard said.

You really do want them snug though. If they get too loose they can rock back easily if you lean back to much and this is not good... Trust me ha ha.

TDot I finally figured out what the problem was. Over a period of time the frame that supports the seat and the person seated on it will become bent at least that`s what happened on mine. I compaired the bent frame with the other one that came with my Pelican Bass Raider and sure enough it was severly bent.I changed them out and now it slides just like it should.
