I returned a defective tube to BPS today and upgraded to another model.
There are no customer reviews so I am guessing this is a new or even brand
new model.
My first impression is that the cover is made from a heavier material than
the cheaper model. I can feel the better quality. This one has three bladders
and 4 nice storage pockets. I think the lap bar is a larger diameter PVC
than the tube I returned. The cover is made from nylon pack cloth and is a
lot denser than the cheaper Lost Lake.

I admit to not knowing nearly nothing about float tubes. But this is my
first impression. Hope to put it tonuse tomorrow.

I've read of your adventures and set backs both here and in the OT. As soon as I saw the title I planned to tell you to get that tube, be aware it might have issues but withBasspros return policy you will always have a functioning tube.

So you've already found out, keep the receipt and as soon as the seam splits or other mishap happens take it back. Those tubes are cheap for a reason and you might go through a few before you find one that holds up.

As to your questions I've seen about waders, get the cheap neoprene waders. I have worn them in water in the upper 30's with long johns under them and wool socks. No need to get expensive gear when you are tube fishing!

I don't have the money for the waders yet. I am on partial early retirement SS and it doesn't leave much room
for saving up any money. My youngest daughter donated most of the money for the new tube.
