We got on the water before 2 pm and fished until dark thirty. Started in water that was around 94 and no grass so nothing was happening Moved and found a little cooler water with grass and picked up a couple. We tried swim baits, spinners, Carolina rig, rattle traps, and top water. But they were going for T rig and drop shot in watermelon and blue. Caught several more in the stumps but around 5 the bite turned on. Just had a handful of 4-5#rs, several unders, and the rest mostly 2s. Went through 6 packs of worms but they produced 107 bass. Water is getting hotter quickly so dont expect the bite to hold up especially since the cast netters made their appearance too.

Great evening. Funny I actually do my best when the water gets hottest. Ive had multiple 100 fish days with best 5 over 25 when the water temp is above 100 at the discharge.
I can backlash toilet paper.

TFTR. Man I haven't had a chance to get back out. For one I'm waiting a trailer light to get here, number two I'm rebuilding my shop. The roof is almost off, but I still have a lot more to go before I finish. I sure am missing out on some good fishing, when I am able to go it will probably be to dang hot to fish during the day, I'll have to fish at night.
