Has anyone been out to Nacogdoches lately? Headed there this weekend for the first time and curious about the lake. Thanks in advance.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. How did you do? My son and I caught 18 in about 1.5 hours on plum Carolina rigs last week. He missed a few good fish real late on frogs.

We went again yesterday but the wind messed up where we wanted to fish. Caught 4 on frogs back past East Lake Estates. 4 on Plum again. No schooling activity that we saw. It was too windy I think. None of them were very big.

We didn't do too bad either. The guy I fished with caught a 8lb 10oz on Friday in deeper water near some docks on the west side. Saturday I caught 10-12 bass, nothing over 20" in length. I caught the majority of my fish on a weightless ocho worm in or near the grass and a few on white spinnerbaits as well near the pads.
