Fished Fayette for the 1st time this year yesterday, with buddy Lloyd Trice. Arrived 7:30 and started on the west side...got a few. Moved to trees east by dam and picked up a few...noticed everything being caught was shallow...thus the pattern for the day was 2-6 feet, Yazuri rattle baits and Culprit 7.5 inch worms. Water temp was 79 to 83 degrees. Wind manageable till 5:00. Ended with 62, and lost 20+ on jumps and at the boat. Most caught between 1:00 and 4:00 pm...

I thought we had a good day with 51 in a six hour trip, most caught on a top water, but you guys had it dialed in. But that top water action was a blast.
