Had 10 people fish the working man's T, with first place being 3 fish for 6.68. Got a new scale that works in .100s so we can be more accurate than with the oz. 2nd place was 3.48. Big fish was the only over at 3.15 lbs. I had a 2.33 for 2nd big fish (doesn't pay anything) and 3rd place in the T with 2.97 (doesn't pay anything). LOL. Fish were caught in several different ways. Hard jerkbaits, shaky heads, T-rigged worms, spinnerbaits and topwaters. Basically, hit them in the head. I had a BIG fish on, pulled drag for about 3 secords on 20# McCoys and buried in a bush. She pulled me down on a 7'3" XH rod that I use for jigs/Trigs and C-rigs. Dunno, but that was fun while it lasted. LOL. My first fish came on the first cast on a custom made topwater bait, made by Topwater Sniper. It was WINDY to start but the wind died down after the sun set. 7 anglers weighed fish, so quite a few 2 fish limits. Hope this helps. OH, we were fishing on brushy points for our fish. Here is a link to a picture of the 2.33 spotted bass.

I'm shocked to hear that 3.48 won big bass. After hearing about all these double digits I thought for sure someone would bring one in. Did the lake turn off?

Actually, the big bass was 3.15, 2nd place was 3.48. I tied into a BIG one, but it got me into the brush, pulled drag for about 3 seconds and then gone. My Trig reel is set up for 10 lbs of drag, so it was a good fish. Never saw her on any beds, but it was very windy that day, too. It is hard to bed fish at night, could be one reason no one has weighed in a big one. Don't know, some good fish still live there, they may be post spawn by now and on beds, hard to determine in a short period of time. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
