Rain, rain. Got there this morning about 6:30. Got to our spot and tied off by 7:00. Rain started shortly afterward. My BIL right off the bat nailed a plate sized bluegill on a Strike King Zero (Senko type bait). Right after that is was fish on. Water temps were around 87 degrees, we were fishing in 9 FOW. Caught all but one on Carolina rigged Zeros, in a variety of green colors. Tied off to a tree and fished one spot for 3 hours and boated around 30 in that time averaging between 3.5 - 4.5 lbs. with a few around 5 lbs. and one that went just shy of 6 lbs. Around 10:00 the bite shut off in that spot and we were starting to get a little chilled from all the downpours, so we called it a day and loaded up. All in all a great day of fishing.

Awesome fish. Thanks for the report. I almost went today, but chose to stay home and get all of my yard work done. Pretty sure I'll be out there on a week day, like Wednesday. Early morning bite looks good, not real sure if I can swing that or not, but we will see.
