Fished from11am to 3pm. Rained off and on the whole time. Caught 7 fish total.
1 on c-rig in 18-19’ of water off a hump close to the dam
1 on silver and black rat-trap in 8’ of water over grass
5 on Tex rig with a beavertail, fishing in timber from 4’ to 10’.

Best trip I have had at Fayette in about 2 months.

Our weather from here on out should start to slowly rise in temperature, so yes, the bite will continue to get better as well. Normally during this time frame I'm bank fishing with ultra light tackle catching white bass and crappie, I'm not on the lakes. So going during this time frame of the year is allowing me to learn a few things here and there about cold water bass fishing. About the second week of April is when I would start fishing the lakes again. I will take off during the month of March and go out catch limits of white bass though, been doing this type of fishing for 45 years now and I'm not ready to quit this just yet, it's way to much fun.

TFTR PaddyMag, nice to know the action has picked up a tad.
