Planning a camping trip to Palo Duro Canyon soon and wondered if anyone has ever fished the canyon and had any success or if there is any fishing available at all?

Fishing is certainly not the reason we're going there but might as well spend some time wetting the line.

Any and all spots are welcome! (We live nowhere near there 😏)

You don't always need a boat..
But gosh darn it, sure helps!

No fishing, they stocked rainbows one year but the fish died day 1.

Palo Duro is a beautiful place, be sure to get tickets for evening play in advance. We ran into sold out tickets, when trying to buy a day early. Well worth the price of admission.
