Curious if anyone has a fishing report on Lake Texoma smallmouth. The little research of done says that areas between soldier and caney creeks would be good in the fall, and willow springs. I don't have much experience on Texoma, but I love smallmouth fishing. Would it be worth the 2hr drive for a day of fishing to target smallmouth?

TRANSITIONS!!!

These are the secrets at Texoma. A-rigs with 3in to 5 in baits, reels with a 6:3 ratio, 25lb braid for line, 7-1/2ft broomsticks for a rod. They play from 8ft to 3o plus feet.

Wiggle Warts, Craw colored cranks (flat-sides) do well.

Fish all transitions from Preston point to Eisenhower, to the dam as well as flutter spooning the train and SH70
bridge.

Have fun!!

I've done pretty good with live crawfish near the rocks earlier this year. Boy they sure are fun to catch.
