Water temp today was approx 76 just north of Lacy's point. Water clarity has stabilized considerably. The key depth for the day was 5 ft. As windy as it was, crankbaits played a role late into the afternoon. Crankbait colors have toned down a touch with the increased visibility. In newly flooded backwaters, where overhangs protect shallow root bases, there are still fish shallow that will stick around through the mid day. In these low light areas, pitching weightless senkos proved productive.
