I've used several different methods, never completely satisfied. Currently using 2 or 2.5g size freezer bags and have sorted by general type:

CRAWS
LIZARDS
CREATURE
FINESSE
STICKBAIT (senko type)

I have 3 different soft bags that house my worms. Two for 6 & 7", the other for 10"+. I used to keep ALL my plastics in the boat, but it started to be a PITA to find anything & I'd end up buying more of what I already had 5 bags of, lol. Now, I have a pegboard in the garage that keeps most it and just bring a bass fisherman's sensible amount of what I think I might need on a given trip (which is still too damn much grin).

Plastic Shoe Box look tubs at Walmart or Dollar Store (Sterilite).
- leave them in the package and dose with scent.
- Line them up either in order of BRAND or order of type of plastics.
- I like type in separate boxes: Worms - Flukes - Senkos - Lizards - Brush Hogs - Jig trailers - Trick worms
- I leave the lids off so I can just reach in and thumb through the packages for the color I want.

The best thing is keep them at home and restock the 6 or 8 things you are going to throw that day and that is all you take out in the boat. Just one box with a few packages of each of the above.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

I keep a large bin with all my plastics in it, sorted in gallon bags by type, and i keep that in my garage.

Then i bought a small bin, like the kind you would get at target or something with a lid that snaps on, and drilled holes through the lid and box on one side and put zip ties loosely through the holes to keep the lid from blowing away on a windy deck. That's the one i take on the boat with me. Before each trip, i load it with whatever i think i will need for that trip and remove whatever i think i won't. otherwise i end up with enough soft plastics to stock a tackle store.

i cant remember the last time i went out in the middle of summer and wished i had packed my bubble-gum bed-fishing baits or Merthiolate trick worms. Staples like senkos or green pumpkin flukes stay in there, i just re-stock them as needed.

edit: the thing i like about this system is i limit myself to bringing whatever will fit in that day-box. It holds more than i ever need, but at least i feel like i am not hauling around too much extra.

I have 3 of the Plano 7080 boxes and this the best system that I have used,

1. Flipping/creature baits
2. Worms
3. Swimmers

I also keep all baits in original bags and use a rubber band to keep colors/sizes organized in each one of these boxes

Storex Mini Crates fit plastic bags perfect. They snap together and hold all different brand of plastics with the rectangular shape. Had them laying around from son coming home from college. Works great.

A small soft cooler with the zipper top works well. Stand the worm pkgs in like a billfold. They are easy to thumb through to find what you are looking for and keeps some of the heat off the plastic.

I have plastic worms organized in the top of my box by size and type. Then I have a few different Rubbermaid containers in an extra rod box that are labeled. Craw/jigs, lizards, stick o's, Ned Rig/elastic. Simple but efficient.

Exactly what do. I have one box for each type. They stack nicely in my compartments.

They cost less than $2 each

You have to be careful about adding scents to those plastic bags. Some will cause the bag to degrade faster. I'm sure the more natural extracts are fine, but the oily ones can possibly leave a mess.
