Will be at the lake this upcoming weekend, first time ever. Did a search and couldn't find any posts about the lake. Anyone fish it lately that is willing to offer up some recent fishing reports, tips on running the lake and anything to watch out for. Thanks is advance.

The lake is pretty easy to navigate, fishing has been tough for a few years

Pray for rain... Needs to come up to get in the good stuff. Haven't fished it in a WHILE

If you launch out of the upper end of the lake, near the intake, be careful and idle till at least past the intake. Other than that its pretty easy to get around.
Docks are a pretty solid pattern, a few deep points arnt bad either.
Throw a topwater, plopper or Popr around docks. leave it sit for 15-30 seconds, seems there the fish cant stand it just sitting there. Theyll smash it.

Top water or frog early or if it is cloudy. then worm around dropoffs. if that doesnt work throw a sq bill shad or chartruse.
