Was going to take the new to me boat our for a maiden voyage. I am guessing with this front the fishing will be horrible?

Yeah, today sucked. Fished all over the lake all day and not a single bite. I'm sure there are plenty of you that did well today, but I sure didn't.

Yeah, it (I) sucked today. Off to Canada for the week. Will try when I get back.

Today was better than yesterday for me. I caught around 25-30 fish. All but three of them came flipping. 20 or so came from flipping rip rap. The fish were almost all in 4-5 ft. But, I had to flip to the rocks right on the bank and hop the bait two times to get bit. Don't ask why. That's why I am saying 4-5 ft deep. If I flipped to 4ft of water...nada. But the edge of the rocks...hop hop....BAM!

Caught 3 on a c rig early. But they were around an hour apart each. So I wasted 3 hours thinking I was on a slow bite kinda day. The first flip was to some flooded brush tops. It was a hard hit. Three flips later, she out swam my slow [censored] towards the boat and I let her get off. Then....I started up the c rig for two more hours.....until I reached the edge of the dam. Then I picked up the flipin stick again. And then proceeded to pound em pretty good. Made three passes down the dam until I was sure I sore lipped em all.

Best thing?!! The dam was on the south end and calm as could be.

It was much better than I thought it would be with the 10 degree drop in water temp. We had 18lbs in less than 5 hours.

Yes, it sucked. Several ZEROS in our tourney yesterday & only 1 limit.
