With Champs behind us, could we get a fishing report with do's and dont's? Headed that way for a week, and was hoping for a report about the spawn and depths that the fish were at.

Fish are spawning but due to clear water they can be as deep at 22'. We caught tons of fish on a weightless senko. Can beat the bank or throw in the middle of coves, tons of buck bass everywhere. Caught a couple nicer fish early on a spook sitting in 15' throwing to 5' in coves. Had braid on and would throw it deep in the cover. Water is gin clear. Average temp was around 64 but found some 70 in the afternoons in the backs of coves. Guys are also throwing plastic swim baits and if you can find grass throw a tx rig. If you want bigger fish it's tough right now, if you want to catch fish and have fun, it's awesome right now. Zorro and San Pedro have been productive.
