I wanted to get the discussion started on lure modifications.
Sometimes when the weather is brutal and the fishing is tough, we need to change it up a bit.
Here are 3 of my many favorite lure mods...be sure to share some of yours as well...Hope you enjoy

Glue on eyes can be used as additional strike points. also paint your blades.

What do you use to paint blades with? I have painted a few spoons before, without much luck as far as longevity.
I tried nail polish and straight enamel paints.

Got a chance to try some of the powder paint...worked out pretty well (for a first) try)...Thanks for the tip...might have to do a video on powder paints (once I get better).

My wife did have some concerns when she saw I was baking a few blades and jigs in the oven though roflmao

LOL...I would be in the dog house for putting any type of lures near the oven...let alone inside. Nice video, the blade attached to a crankbait is pretty cool.

I have been tying feathered treble hooks to go on CBs since 1999. Works great most of the time, something that the bass haven't seen, at least I think so. Thanks for sharing. Tight lines keep safe and good luck.

Never have tied my own...but can say that I feel like I do catch more fish with the feathered treble. I use it mostly in the winter time.
