Thinking of fishing Ray Roberts this weekend at some point. Wondering how it's fishing in general. Any info would be appreciated.

It was tough last Sunday. You just have to keep moving to find them.

Is there a High School tourny there this weekend?

Been out there a number of times in the last 2 weeks with limited success each time. Skunked once even. Caught some shorts off of rocky shorelines in about 8-10 feet, some drop-shotting in the timber, nothing of note with a plug, and a few on a shaky head early in the morning near rip rap and rock. The best bite I've found is flipping a nail weighted wacky worm or neko rig in shady areas on light line to cover. That was my best day on Sunday. Probably caught 15 or so. No slobs though.

If you can't find em wind em.

Fished the lake this morning and it was tough. The banks of Indian had plenty of dinks but no size anywhere. I saw no sign that fish are moving into the creeks yet. Water temp was 80.

I went Saturday and it was tough. Only caught a couple of small ones on a squarebill but I’ll be back to try again tomorrow.

If you lost a rod and reel in the cove by the dam a couple of years ago, you can pick it up out of the dumpster in the state park.

I fished it hard with a friend Saturday and we caught 5 or 6. Big fish was 4#s on a point with a Carolina rig. It was a whipping. I graphed a bunch of deeper structure and it was the dead sea.

I was way up in Indian yesterday and caught a few about three quarters back in a side creek. I did not think I would find anything but ran into a few. I would go a long time with no bits and then I would get two or three in a row. Just starting to get up the creeks. Should be a lot better in a couple of weeks. Square bills and Texas rigs soft plastic worked the best.

I did want to give a shoot out to the couple that jump me off when my battery went died. Put the TM down at 7:30 and never picked it until noon. I know better then that. Thank you!

I was there Saturday from before sunlight to 11:30. Caught around 20, first 4 before sunrise were on chatterbaits near rip rap at buck creek , remaining fish were on spinnerbaits or swimjig, majority fish came out of grass( I guess it's alligator grass ) largest fish was 3.5 came off a lay down every fish was in 5 feet or less water
