I have had many great experiences fishing. I have caught big bass on amistad, lake fork, beaver lake, table rock. I have fished tournaments with my teenaged son. I have been a boat captain for the last year for my 16yo sons HS bass team. I fished in every N texas lake. but one of the greatest things to ever happen to me as it relates to fishing happened yesterday afternoon.
My youngest son joined the HS fishing team and he is going to be partnered with his older brother for this years THSBA .. I will be their boat captain!! it is a dream come true!! I am soooo excited!

I'm the coach for a high school club, and a boat captain, also.....I fished tournaments for decades.....NOTHING can top being a boat captain and watching these young anglers catch their 1st "keeper" tournament bass. If you've considered being a boat captain....give it a try...it's well worth the effort...
