Headed to my place on PK next weekend and was wondering how the water clarity is looking? Haven't been out since may when water clarity was starting to get really good and I've heard it's back to dirty. Shallow bite still possible to get on? Thanks.

Water isn't real clear mid lake, but it is getting better, shallow bite is still good.

Water clarity North of Sanbar is like 2'-3' and cloudy. It is clearing up a little heading South from there. Gaines Bend area the water is a little cloudy and 4' visibility. There is still a scum floating around in a few places from the inflow a couple weeks back. We caught a few nice LM Bass yesterday while fishing for another species.

I went a few days ago. How's PK LOOKING? PK is always beautiful! Seriously though, the water was not as clear as usual for summer but certainly not bad, "Slightly stained". It was slow for me. Caught a few but couldn't really get a pattern to them. caught some shallow but they were far between for me. Good luck. Post or PM me with how you do. My dad is giving me a hard time about having not taken him with me so I need to go back.

We went last weekend and it was tough, we were planning on clear water and some exciting glide bait fishing. instead we fished up by the river and had a little luck on top water.. but the rest of the day was a grind!!
