Will this be enough thrust to stay on a spot with a bass tracker 16ft boat?
I think there $800 which is affordable
Anyone have one?

12v will be done before noon in a 12 mph wind on open water.
Just carry an extra battery and it will be an all day affair if you go hide form the wind some.

Motorguide xi5 in 55lb thrust will run you around $1200 usually
Minn Kota Powerdrive 55lb thrust with i pilot will run you around $1100.
I would recommend getting a good AGM battery for it as well and it will work just fine on your boat.
