Never used copolymer, how does it compare to straight fluoro? I've been using Seagur red label and I seem to be breaking off quite a bit due to knicks and fray in the line (admittedly I'm not retying or checking for frays as often as I should be). Are there any advantages besides price for copolymer? Any major disadvantages?

Use to swear by P-Line 15 lbs. would break my rod before the line or knot broke it's super high memory though. Have you tried Seaguar AbrazX? Little more expensive but I like it.

I have been using McCoys Mean Green since 2000 and LOVE IT FOR ALL MOVING BAIT APPLICATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is super STRONG, LOW MEMORY, GOOD STRETCH and GREAT ABRASION RESISTANCE. I can tow a 20' baot around with 20# test, most of the time, even in a wind. I do NOT use it for C-rigging, however, as there is too much stretch in it for me, but I DO use it for leader material. Tr it out, if you want something better than fluoro. It is smaller diameter for like # mono or flouros, so it gets deeper, even though it is made with silicone. GREAT line. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. I am not affiliated with McCoys, either.

+1 on everything Thad just said except I do also use it for my Carolina rigging.

P-Line 15 Ib is awesome. It is second to braid in strength, casts far and isn't necessarily the most sensitive and light braid but I'd say it's in the middle of fluro and braid. Highly recommend.

I've been using copolymer T-Line for over twenty five years.

It's the best there is.

Hi Seas Grand Slam Select. All of the above mentioned qualities except less stretch. Plus the price is awesome.

I started to use McCoy line as well. I like it so far.

McCoy mean Green. Or I have used Yozuri for about 7 years and have never had a problem with any line from #12,up to #20.and Yozuri is easier on the pocket book compared to McCoy

+1, no issues.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

McCoys Mean Green and PLine premium are both strong lines with little memory.
PLine CXX very strong line but it does have more memory that the other two.
