Going to Holbrook for the first time this weekend. Any advice would be appreciated.

Only been to the lake a few times myself but there's 2 long sloping points near the boat ramp at the bottom of the lake. One just to the left of the ramp and the other further around the point. Both should hold fish right now.Never had much success around the boat houses. Pretty easy to run, just be careful above the buoys at the top of the lake.

I've done best there on the north end of the lake, even in the summer. They'll school on the shad up there in the afternoons.

Be careful up there though. Trim the motor up all the way and idle slow. There's a bunch of big stumps just under the surface.

Don't run past the no ski buoys in any part of the lake, to be safe. We caught a lot of 2-5# bass Sunday in 6-10 fow on points and humps.
