Fishing South Llano River in Junction this weekend. I've fished it A LOT and caught a lot of guads but I wanted to see if there are some new tricks out there. Especially ones that pertain to this river.

I have floated & fished most rivers in Texas for years. S. Llano countless times. It's a gem! There are lots of lures that will catch the river bass. Small spinner baits and small cranks. Worms and weightless stick baits in the slower areas. Small top waters(clear tiny torpedo). But if you want to carry one rod and one bait: a 4" curley tailed grub on a jig head willl out fish any bait on all the clear Texas rivers. Any color...as long as its chartreuse! wink If they don't bite this they aren't biting! Works everywhere but concentrate on the base of any rapids or fast water. Enjoy!
