I am only starting this thread to hopefully help those who may not know such as I didn't. I fished the bass n bucks event 2 weeks ago on Toledo and was lucky enough to win, however, I had to use the navionics map on my phone due to the fact that my graphs on my boat were all of a sudden not providing anything under the water as they had been. I have 2 hds 12's on the dash and a 9 on the bow, and all of them were only giving me very small portions of the lake contours.

At first I thought it was just the typical areas on Toledo that were not graphed due to timber, etc. But then I started looking at my phone, and searched old photos I had taken of my screen on my graph, and noticed it looked very different than it normally does, which was not showing much of anything.

When I got to work that Monday I called lowrance, only because my boat is fairly new and I thought this should not be happening and it surely was something I did, or didn't do. Sure enough, I did not know to check and see what version I was running, totally my fault but a learning experience.

I was running version 2.0 in all units, and lowrance said they recently (March I think) came out with the updated version, 4.5. So I did as they said, bought a blank micro sd card, downloaded the version online and then uploaded it into my units, looks great.

Just wanted to see if this would help someone who may have the same issues or didn't know as I didn't. Also, to inform you that the navionics app on your phone works great as a back up if needed.

if you have a way to hot spot your phone just blue tooth your unit to it and it will automatically find and download updates when your on the water banana
also there is some bugs in 4.5 so if you have any problems just go back to 4.0 and all is good and they are working on a update to fix 4.5 so keep looking for it
