TW has their IMX and Mossyback's on sale and was thinking about getting one of them for specifically for throwing a weightless or 1/8 tungsten Senko. What is the best model/power of this application. I appreciate your help in advance.

Thank You,

Brian

I'd go with a medium heavy and extra fast action in the IMX series.

Loomis produced a "Senko" labeled rod with titanium guides. Not sure if it is in production still since I bought mine about 6 years ago.

I could be wrong, but I think that "Senko" rod was GLX only, if you're talking about the one/w titanium recoil guides. I have broken several of them and still have one. I don't typically break the IMX blanks.

That's interesting seeing as Yamamoto has his own line of rods.

The older GLX rods broke pretty easily. The IMX rods are practically indestructible under normal use. You have to slam a door on one to break it. Agreed on the MH action IMX rod and not just for Senkos. It is a muti-prupose stick. Cannot go wrong with one of them.
