TW has their IMX and Mossyback's on sale and was thinking about getting one of them for specifically for throwing a weightless or 1/8 tungsten Senko. What is the best model/power of this application. I appreciate your help in advance.
Thank You,
Brian

I'd go with a medium heavy and extra fast action in the IMX series.

Loomis produced a "Senko" labeled rod with titanium guides. Not sure if it is in production still since I bought mine about 6 years ago.

I could be wrong, but I think that "Senko" rod was GLX only, if you're talking about the one/w titanium recoil guides. I have broken several of them and still have one. I don't typically break the IMX blanks.

Gary Yamamoto uses ugly sticks. That's interesting seeing as Yamamoto has his own line of rods.

I could be wrong, but I think that "Senko" rod was GLX only, if you're talking about the one/w titanium recoil guides. I have broken several of them and still have one. I don't typically break the IMX blanks. The older GLX rods broke pretty easily. The IMX rods are practically indestructible under normal use. You have to slam a door on one to break it. Agreed on the MH action IMX rod and not just for Senkos. It is a muti-prupose stick. Cannot go wrong with one of them.
