How do you guys that fish a lot and keep most your gear in our boat organize your plastics? I have 3 big tubs and in each tub have gallon bags marked with what's in them. It still gets to be a cluster sometimes! Wanting to see if there is an easier or better way of doing this.

Zip locks here too....I try to only take in the boat what I'll use that week.

basically the same - shallow storage bins labeled by type such as stick worm, finesse worm, paddle tail, fluke, beaver, etc.

I use these. I have 6, some in the boat some in the garage. Keeps everything organized. I probably can fit 10 bags in each slot, maybe more, haven't counted. I write on the top of each slot what's in there and keep each box organized by technique.

I used gallon ziplocs for a while, then they were busting open all the time from being too full so I bought some shallow storage boxes that your average bag fits perfectly into while still standing up as it would hanging on the peg in the store. I have 7 different boxes divided by what is in them, then organized inside by color. I have an extra storage box that I keep in the day-box that I throw everything I use during the day into. Then at the end of the day I will put everything back where it belongs. This keeps me from being unorganized, and from having things scattered all over the boat by the time the day is over without spending a bunch of time during the day putting everything where it belongs.

i use something like this.

https://www.amazon.com/Plano-23731-01-St...31W2ZX08R1043N4

i can hold at least 16 to 20 bags (original size bags that they come in at store). I just group by type. Craws, trick, critter etc. works good for me. I tried the ziplock route and never had much luck with it. i found what i do works best for me....

Like above, Gal Zip loc bags. I sort them by type of plastic, creature, Craw, etc.

Works for me, other than I try to cram more in a bag than will fit!!!

Next weekend I plan organize and maybe thin out what I probably will never use. Also want to make sure I have plenty of what I use the most.

Thanks, Billy

6qt plastic boxes labeled by style. They hold about 20-30 bags depending on style:

brush hogs
ribbon tail worms
senkos
craws/beavers
finesse/dropshot
flukes/grubs
swimbaits
ringworms
jig trailers
lizzards

The reality is that out of the 100+ lbs of plastics in the boat, I only throw GP flukes, BBH's and senkos...LOL

I scatter them around everywhere so they will be readily available and the chance of having another bag is always a possibility.
