If you mount a hook 9 on a Dek-It mount would you still be able to see a graph that is flush mounted behind it? I've got a hummingbird 788 I want to be able to see for sonar.

Should be able to depending on the angle and how tall you are.

Just depends but I highly doubt it. RAM mounts still dominate on the nose of a boat. I've seen several gimble mounts bent on the deck it style mounts. The RAM can be adjusted to see then folded flat to run waves.

Depends on your boat more than anything. If you must mount it well forward due to TM well as in the picture it may be an issue but do you have to mount it there? Mine is mounted off the the left side of the well close to the TM.

Like Frank the Tank said, it just depends on the angle you have it mounted and how tall you are. It also depends on the size of the unit on the Dek It mount. With the way I have my 12" setup I wouldn't be able to see my flush mounted unit even though I'm really tall.

Precision Sonar makes a mount that's shorter and might work better for you.
