Any recommendations for safe, decent lodging on or near PK? Hoping to spend a weekend there sometime in the coming weeks.

Lots of options. What part of the lake do you prefer?

Hideaway Cabins/Inn. Not 5 minutes from South D&D, boat parking at the Cabins and the Inn and really good price. Stayed 2 nights a couple weeks ago and I had no complaints. Nice rooms, nice people to work with.

We usually go out of either South D&D, North D&D or Scenic Point. Some of the resorts in the area are kind of pricey, so we're looking for options for 2 couples with 2 bathrooms, which probably means two separate rooms in a motel or renting a house.

Haven't stayed there but they've done a lot of updating to fox hollow. They cabins used to look questionable but at least from the outside they look a ton better. Food is good at the restaurant too

Baileys Crystal Lodge is nice and reasonable. It is not near the ramps you mentioned though. They have their own ramp to use as well. It didn't look too crowded today, I would guess it would be easy to get a cabin now. Hideaway is pretty good as well.

We have always enjoyed Bass Hollow. Not the Ritz but clean little cabins just feet from the water and covered boat slips/ramp right outside your door. www.basshollow.com/
