Was fishing Lake Fork this last week and the 'up' trim quit on my '01 Mercury. Was able to get it loaded on the trailer and out of the lake at the Rainswood Ramp but couldn't drive anywhere with the motor all the way down. Two guys were getting ready to put in and told us to call Service Marine by Emory. I called, he gave me step by step on how to get the motor up and we took it down to them. A younger guy helped us when we got there, installed the relay and adjusted some of the wiring that someone else had moved around previously. Super nice kid, very polite and professional. The bill for the relay and installation was ridiculously inexpensive.
Just wanted to give a shout out to the owner and the young man working there. Great customer service.

SE Kansas grass grower That younger guy would be Greg Allen aka Dropshot.. He is a good guy. They are the only ones that touch my boat. Great service.

Seen their place many times going to Fork. Fortunately, have never needed their service but it's good to know folks think highly of them.

Do they do just as good on Yamahas? You bet, all I have are Yamaha's. They've done tune up's, water pumps, trailer repairs, tilt trim motors, and uhhh 2 lower units, ouch...HPDI 225 and a 90 hp 4 stroke on the pontoon, they can fix them all...

Bunch of good guys for sure. Great Service. Perry and I go back to the early 80's. He has been working on my boats/engines since then. Ouch.. that is a lot of years I must be getting old.

Chuck,Perry, and Greg are an awesome bunch of guys. They have always done a top notch job at a very fair Price. I was having trouble with getting wood in the thermostats on my optimax. Chuck told me he could install a nosecone block off kit from mercury in my lower unit. It fixed the issue. Very knowledgeable guys.
